Life comes at you fast.

Today, on my last college day for the quarter, I received bad news concerning my loan money for my trip to Japan. Apparently I need an extra 2,500 dollars that need to be paid today (or Wednesday at the most) before my trip (Friday 27th) or else I would not attend.
Now, this woman... I spoke with her very clearly and she specified I only needed 1,600 dollars (which I requested and received) there's e-mail proof and all.

It was such a bad way to end the quarter. I was furious, hurt and a mess, really. Somehow I unexpectedly was low in funds and in danger of not going? No way, I worked so hard for it. I spoke with financial aid and they didn't help very much.

I turned to the off-campus director and he doubled my scholarship.

TAKE THAT BURSAR LADY. Now, I know I shouldn't take it personal.. but 3 hours of sleep, constant finals stress and trip-anxiety didn't mix too well.

I'm more at ease. There's no doubt this trip will be amazing after all it took to just ensure it. Man... it makes me cringe just remembering the anxiety, the worry of not going, being penniless etc.

So kids. Today's lesson: Don't give up. If you fall on your face, use the ground to get up. Victory is sweetest when you've known defeat. Believe in me who believes in you who believes in me!! etc.

(TL;DR be stubborn)
